Toddler Tunes (ages 18 months to 3 years):
Toddlers absorb music instantly. The repetition of simple songs, melody patterns and rhythms provide toddlers with "remembered experiences" that will serve as a basis for future music development and enjoyment. Sharing music time with a parent brings a wonderful sense of well being to a child. Toddler Tunes is a joyful music experience full of singing, rhythms, fingerplays, active movement and keyboard exploration. Toddler Tunes also provides a natural progression to the Music In Me course.

Music In Me (ages 3-4 years):
Music in Me is a dynamic music readiness program for young children. It emphasizes ear training, solfege singing, movement, keyboard activities and pitch and rhythm awareness. This course will provide the young child with an enjoyable basis for continued music growth and involvement. Upon completion of Music in Me, children will progress to More Music in Me, where they will further develop their skills and gain readiness for our Primary Course.

Primary Course (ages 4 1/2 to 6 years):
The ideal time to begin musical training is in the preschool years. This is when a child's sense of hearing is most receptive and the desire for self expression through music is forming. The Primary Course is designed to make the most of this sensitive time in a child's life. The course is carefully constructed for children to learn basic musicianship skills. Instruction includes beginning piano skills, expressive songs, solfege training, preparation for note reading, rhythm, movement, and ensemble playing. One or both parents attend the class, serving as learning partners to their child, both in class and at home. This course provides an incomparable foundation for any future musical direction and encourages the love of music. Upon completion of the four books in this course, students graduate to our advanced course.

Young Musician Course (ages 6-8 years, grades 1-2),
and Keyboard Prep Course (ages 8-10 years, grades 3-5) :

Learning to play the piano should be fun, and the group piano program provides a stimulating environment for students of all ages. The curriculum includes technique, ear training, musicianship, theory, music history, and solo and ensemble performance. Students receive individual attention as well as being motivated and inspired by learning with their peers. The music is upbeat and appealing to all students. Musical activities such as composition, history, learning about composers, ensemble and duet playing are included to give each student a full background and keep his or her interest alive. Upon completion of these courses, students graduate to our advanced course.

Keyboard Musician (ages 10+):
The Keyboard Musician course provides students with an opportunity to continue to develop performance skills through the study of varied repertoire styles, technical studies, sight-reading songs, and three-and four-part ensembles. Ear training is expanded to include dictation, recognition of tonal centers and chord progressions. Transposing becomes an easily accessible activity. Students learn to accompany themselves while singing solfege. Two-part singing and artistic repertoire encourage expressive musicianship. Harmonic training develops an understanding of accompaniment styles. Students are given step-by-step techniques to develop their own creativity through music composition. In this program students become acquainted with major composers and their place in music history.
