BABIES AND TODDLERS instinctively react to music. In these interactive classes, parents and little ones learn rhymes, lullabies, action songs and dances that stimulate your baby’s natural response to music. Studies show that music enhances language development, motor skills, sense of balance, and happiness. Children, parents or caregivers come together for a delightful musical experience in a joyful music making program of rhythm, singing, finger plays, active movement games and keyboard activities.
Parents or caregivers share in class.
MUSIC IN ME

Saturdays 10:15pm – Ages 3 1/2 – 5 years (Pre-K)
MUSIC IN ME is a dynamic music readiness program designed for young children. Of course traditional piano lessons are not appropriate for this age, but they can be introduced to great understanding of music through activities such as singing, rhythm, movement, ear training, keyboard concepts such as high and low notes, two and three black keys, and easy melodies. Reading concepts of line and space notes, high and low, notes going up and down are introduced in a fun and encouraging environment. This course provides a strong musical foundation and keyboard preparation for any further music studies.
Parent participation is required.
KEYBOARD FOR KINDERS
5 Lessons – $75 (materials included)
Saturdays 11:00 am – Ages 4 1/2 – 6 years (Starts Jan 27th)
Wednesdays 2:30 pm – Ages 4 1/2 – 6 years (Starts Jan 31st)
A PIANO CLASS designed for our little beginners. Along with learning ot play the piano, students learn music skills through expressive and solfege singing (ear training), note and rhythm reading, ensemble and solo playing. A parent attends class serving as a learning partner. This course provides an incomparable foundation for any future music study and encourages the love and understanding of music. Parent participation is encouraged but not required.

Wednesdays 5:30 pm – Ages 7 – 9 years (Starts Jan 31st)
LEARNING TO PLAY THE PIANO should be fun, and our group piano program provides a stimulating environment for students of all age levels. The curriculum includes technique, ear training, theory, singing, note and rhythm reading. Students receive individual attention as well as being motivated and inspired by learning with their peers. Musical activities such as composition, music history, games, ensemble and duet playing are included to give each student a full background.
Parent participation is encouraged but not required.
